Vampires and Dadawa at the New Vision Arts Festival

Hong Kong's New Vision Arts Festival 2010 is bursting with genre-blending, boundary-pushing performing arts, staged from October 15 to November 21. The program starts with a performance by Zhu Zheqin, aka Dadawa, a Chinese singer who won the BBC World Music Award in 2007, and ends with an epic interpretation of the Peony Pavilion starring Japanese and Chinese artists.Other highlights include the "into..." project by Ensemble Modern and Siemens Arts Program in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut, where 17 outstanding composers set out to conduct compositional research on the state of cultural convergence in megacities Istanbul, Dubai, Johannesburg, and the Pearl River Delta region.read more
