Singapore in 30 years, according to mrbrown

Okay. The Feds need to stop printing money. Your U.S. dollar is now worth 1.28 of my Singapore dollars, down from 1.36 a few months ago, and I get paid in U.S. dollars for this column. And it's not even a lot of U.S. dollars (hint to my editor to start paying me in Australian dollars). 

This is prompting me to think about what Singapore will be like in 30 years time. For one thing, we may have stronger money than the Americans.

This means we may try to buy one of your American football teams. Even if we don't understand your version of football (like we don't understand cricket).read more
