Halle Berry, Kelly Clarkson, Justin Timberlake and more have had their moments.By Kyle Anderson

Despite the triumphant TV returns of Kanye West, T.I. and El DeBarge at Sunday night's 2010 BET Awards, the big headline from the show was Chris Brown's moving tribute to late superstar Michael Jackson. Brown flawlessly executed all of Jackson's most classic dance moves (including a scorching moonwalk), but when it came time to lend his voice to Jackson's "Man in the Mirror," Brown broke down in tears and could not sing, apparently overwhelmed by the emotion of the situation.
Crying in public is hardly a new phenomenon in the world of popular culture. Brown joins the list of some of the biggest stars in the world who have also broken down on television.
Halle Berry
When Berry won the Oscar for Best Actress at the 74th Annual Academy Awards in 2002 (for her work in "Monster's Ball"), she became the first African-American woman to take home the prize. That, combined with the overwhelming experience that was making the emotionally-charged "Monster's Ball" and the huge standing ovation she received, threw Berry into hysterics during her acceptance speech. "This moment is so much bigger than me," she said.
Kelly Clarkson
When Kelly Clarkson won the very first season of "American Idol," she was initially in a state of shock. Unable to express how she was feeling to the television audience who voted her the victor over Justin Guarini, she moved on to her performance of "A Moment Like This." When she hit the lyric, "I can't believe it's happening to me," she finally broke. She managed to get through the song, but to continuously apologized for her emotion.
Justin Timberlake
Ashton Kutcher's hit MTV show "Punked" certainly pushed a lot of his famous friends to the brink, but few had a reaction like Timberlake. When Kutcher's crew of actors pretended to be federal officers seizing most of his possessions for failure to pay back taxes, Timberlake flipped out and wept. Usually, Kutcher's reveal at the end of the episode throws the celebrity in question into laughing jags or fits of anger, but Timberlake was clearly just filled with relief.
Tonya Harding
Athletes cry all the time, but it's usually because of the overwhelming thrill of victory or the agony of bitter defeat. Rarely do they weep during a particular competition, but that's exactly what Harding did at the 1994 Winter Olympics. After dealing with her connection to the attack on fellow skater Nancy Kerrigan in the run-up to the games, Harding took the ice only to realize that a lace on one of her skates had broken. In between sobs, she pleaded with the judges to allow her to get new laces and start over. They allowed it, though Harding still only finished eighth.
Crystal Bowersox
The season nine "American Idol" runner-up had an extremely emotional run to the finals (including a harrowing health scare), but it took merely the presence of her father and a particularly heartfelt song to push her to tears. Bowersox slipped a handful of sobs into her performance of Curtis Mayfield and the Impressions' "People Get Ready" during Inspirational Week on the show. It was one of the many performances that put Bowersox in the discussion of the best "Idol" contestants of all time.
Tracy Morgan
The always unpredictable star of "Saturday Night Live" and "30 Rock" has had a tough life and a challenging career, but the mere mention of co-star Tina Fey sent Morgan on the crying train when he visited with Oprah Winfrey on an episode of her show back in April. "She's my friend. Tina is my friend. I love her," he told Winfrey as he was fighting back tears.
"Crying Girl"
There are an awful lot of "American Idol" moments on this list, aren't there? Ashley Ferl gained notoriety during the show's sixth season not as a contestant but as a particularly emotional audience member. The 13-year-old Ferl was so taken with "Idol" contestant Sanjaya Malakar's take on the Kinks' "You Really Got Me" that she sobbed uncontrollably, earning herself a great deal of screen time and the privilege of becoming an Internet meme for a while.
Did we miss any? What is the best incident of celebrity crying? And what did you think of Brown's performance? Let us know in the comments!

Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Oprah Top Forbes 2010 Celebrity Power List
James Cameron, Sandra Bullock, Britney and Madonna also named most powerful celebs of 2010.By Gil Kaufman

Lady Gaga has won a lot of accolades during the past year and met some pretty impressive dignitaries, but crashing the Forbes magazine annual World's Most Powerful Celebrities list puts her in some truly rarified company.
The singer, who launched her latest iteration of her never-ending Monster Ball Tour in Montreal on Monday night, debuts on the list this year at #4. She landed there thanks to high marks for her Web visibility (#1 on the list) and a $62 million haul between June 2009 and June 2010, $31 million of which came from touring (after a gross of $95 million), with much of the rest courtesy of deals with Virgin Mobile, Polaroid, Monster Cable and MAC.
Gaga joins a top 10 that is dominated by women, including the once-again #1, Oprah Winfrey, who retook her top rank thanks to $315 million in earnings after ceding it last year to Angelina Jolie (now #18). The list ranks celebs based on earnings over the previous 12 months, as well as visibility in print, TV, radio, online and social media.
Beyoncé slipped up two spots to #4 this year, with $86 million in grosses thanks to a 93-date world tour, deals with Nintendo and L'Oreal and her House of Dereon fashion line. The still resurgent Britney Spears leaped from #13 to #6 this year, banking $64 million, most of it thanks to a world tour that grossed $130 million and deals with Elizabeth Arden and Candie's.
Madonna slipped seven spots down from last year's #3 ranking to #10, but at 52, she still had the fourth-highest-grossing tour of the year, which rolled up more than $138 million in gross receipts, as well as significant publishing royalties, including cash from an all-Madge episode of "Glee."
More than 30 years into their career, U2 went from zero to #7 on the list, mostly courtesy of a massive — currently mothballed — world tour that raked in more than $311 million in gross box office, as well as lucrative merchandise sales, copious radio play and a steady-selling back catalog that earned them more than $130 million.
With a $210 million payday from his #1 smash "Avatar," director James Cameron (#3) had a very good year, unlike disgraced golfer Tiger Woods, who hits #5 with $105 million in earnings amid high press rankings, mostly for his infidelity scandal. The top 10 is rounded out by Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock (#8, $56 million), who made headlines for having two hit movies, "The Proposal" and "The Blind Side," as well a divorce from ex-Jesse James. And at #9 is Johnny Depp, who banked $75 million, mostly due to his work in "Alice in Wonderland," which grossed $1 billion worldwide, making Depp the only actor to headline two billion-dollar films.
Taylor Swift made it onto the list for the first time, at #12, thanks to her status as the most-played artist on radio in 2009, multi-platinum album sales, and big endorsement deals with Sony and CoverGirl that netted her $45 million. She's just ahead of Miley Cyrus (#13), who took in a not-too-shabby $48 million. Beyoncé's other half, Jay-Z, also made a giant leap this year, jumping from #32 to #15 with a hit album, his investment in the 40/40 club chain and the Broadway show "Fela!," the New Jersey Nets, and the Blueprint 3 tour, which grossed more than $1 million per show.
Also new on the list this year are the Black Eyed Peas, who debuted at #16 thanks to a $48 million year pumped up by sponsorship deals with Target, Honda, Bacardi and Apple. Singer Pink crashed the party at #27 in her debut year, with $44 million, much of it courtesy of her smash international tour.
Other musicians on the list include: Bruce Springsteen (#17), Coldplay (#35), the Jonas Brothers (#40), Diddy (#68), Lil Wayne (#74) and Akon (#80).
"Twilight" star Robert Pattinson also makes his first appearance on the list, coming in at #50 with $17 million in earnings, followed by co-star Kristen Stewart at #66 with $12 million in earnings. The woman who started it all, "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer, hits the #59 spot with $40 million in pay thanks to the $1 billion in box office the movies have earned so far and continued strong sales of the books from the series.
Former "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell earned a spot behind Madonna at #11 with a hefty $80 million payday, while fellow "Idol" cohort Ellen DeGeneres (#23) earned $55 million from her stint on the reality show and her syndicated daily talker. "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest weighs in at #44 with $51 million from his variety of TV hosting gigs, radio show and producer credits on reality shows.

Just one day after the premiere of the drama-filled second-season premiere of "Jersey Shore," one of the show's biggest stars, Snooki, was arrested in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, where the show is currently filming, MTV News confirmed.
Police officials confirmed to MTV News that Snooki, whose given name is Nicole Polizzi, was in police custody at press time. No further details regarding the arrest or why she was arrested were available, but TMZ reports that she was arrested for disorderly conduct.
The gossip website further reports that Snooki was seen near the beach at Seaside drinking what was believed to be Coca-Cola from a beer funnel. Additionally, she was earlier spotted doing shots at a local bar. A rep for MTV had no comment on the matter.
In photos reportedly taken around the time of the arrest, Snooki is seen walking on the boardwalk along with her pals Vinny and Ronnie from the show. Snooki is dressed in a hot-pink tiger-print T-shirt that says "I Heart Snooki," a baseball cap, sunglasses, a miniskirt and hot green slippers. She was photographed being approached by officers and handcuffed, with co-star and friend JWoww by her side. It is unclear from photos what incident prompted the arrest.

Chris Cornell Filling In For Robert Plant On Led Zeppelin Tour? That's News To Him
'I have not been approached to fill in for Robert Plant on the Zeppelin tour, but that isn't to say I won't be,' singer says.By Chris Harris

Former Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell has spoken out for the first time about rumors that he's been asked to fill in for Robert Plant on a proposed Led Zeppelin reunion tour. The trek would feature original guitarist Jimmy Page, original bassist John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham taking over on drums for his late father, John Bonham.
Cornell has been mentioned — along with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar, White Stripes mastermind Jack White and Alter Bridge's Myles Kennedy — as a potential Plant fill-in. Plant has already said that he wouldn't take part in the tour.
"I have not been approached so far to fill in for Robert Plant on the upcoming Zeppelin tour, but that isn't to say I won't be," Cornell told MTV News. "I've heard that from about 200 people now, and it might be one of those situations where it's just an online rumor or it might be true. But if you see anyone from Led Zeppelin around, let me know. I think I should actually fill in for Jimmy Page on the Robert Plant/ Alison Krauss tour."
Cornell's denial comes just a day after Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford confirmed reports that frontman Steven Tyler recently met with Zeppelin for an impromptu jam session. "They did it for fun," Whitford said during an appearance on the syndicated show "Todd N Tyler Radio Empire." "I actually think Jimmy wanted Steven to come over and play a little bit because I think he was trying to light a fire under Robert."
Rumors of a Zeppelin reunion tour have abounded since the iconic band played a single reunion set last year at London's O2 Arena. Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider added fuel to the fire last month when he revealed that the group was thinking of touring, with or without Plant.
According to Snider, the rest of the band told Plant, " 'We're all rehearsed, we're ready to go. Here's a gazillion dollars on the table. If you don't do it, we're going out with this kid [Myles Kennedy].' "
"And he can sing the sh-- out of Zeppelin," Snider added. "They're going to hope that Robert, at the last minute, will go, 'OK,' and step in."
In a recent interview, Jones told BBC Radio Devon that a new singer was being sought to take over for Plant. "We are trying out a couple of singers," he said. "We want to do it. It's sounding great, and we want to get on and get out there."
But Jones insists that he, Page and Bonham aren't interested in finding a Plant clone. "It's got to be right," he said. "There's no point in just finding another Robert. You could get that out of a tribute band, but we don't want to be our own tribute band. There would be a record and a tour, but everyone has to be onboard."
Of course, even if Zeppelin were to approach him, Cornell might be too busy to take over vocals for the band. His upcoming Timbaland-produced solo LP, Scream, will be released within the next few months. Cornell told MTV News last month that some of his fans might consider Scream something of a departure, but he doesn't see it that way.
"It makes me happy that there's this perception that I have a group of fans that I'm now sort of throwing a curve at and what their reaction will be," he said. "But I've been in this situation so many times already. When I put out [1999's] Euphoria Morning, my main goal was to create an album that sounded like nothing I'd done in Soundgarden, and I did that. I also had that with Temple of the Dog, where I showed up with songs that weren't necessarily riff-based. And then, of course, the pairing of me and members of Rage Against the Machine had everyone sort of speculating about what that would sound like.
"It feels like I've done this so many times that when it's presented to me as being a departure, I feel that's a misconception," he added. "I feel like that's my theme at this point."

Janet Jackson And Family Visit Michael's Forest Lawn Grave

As fans lined up outside Forest Lawn cemetery in Glendale, California, on the one-year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death, his family gathered inside to pay their respects to the fallen pop star.
Janet Jackson, as well as Randy, Tito and Jermaine, arrived at the cemetery around 11 a.m. PT on Friday (June 25), according to Us Weekly. Janet wore a black trench coat and black skirt as she was escorted in by her brothers. The family entered the cemetery through a back entrance and made their way to the Great Mausoleum, where Michael was laid to rest.
The mausoleum's architectural design was inspired by the Campo Santo in Italy, an elaborate cemetery constructed in the 13th century and used as a burial ground for Italian elites for hundreds of years. The building was not open to fans on the anniversary of Jackson's death.
Michael's children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, did not accompany the other Jackson family members. According to Us, the children were last seen in Hawaii on Thursday with Michael's mother, Katherine, who is their legal guardian.
"Sorry Big Bro, for not getting ur children there on the anniversary of ur last day. I tried," Randy wrote on his Twitter account.
Katherine was on hand Friday in Gary, Indiana, Michael's hometown, to unveil a marble memorial and hold what was described as a cell phone vigil outside his childhood home. "I am not in support of the Gary event/trip or whatever it is. I'm tired but I promise to continue this discussion first thing in the morn," Randy tweeted.
MTV will be remembering the life and music of Michael Jackson all weekend. Don't miss the one-hour special "Michael Jackson's Influence on Music," airing tonight at 6:30 p.m. on MTV.

Katy Perry, Usher Top Billboard's New Songs Of Summer Chart
Lady Gaga, Drake, Eminem also make top 10 of new list, which ranks biggest summer jams.By James Montgomery

It would appear, after years spent debating, deliberating, dissecting and disputing, that there is finally a better way to determine just what is the biggest Summer Jam of the year ... and of the past 25 years, too.
That's because Billboard just unveiled its brand-new Songs of the Summer chart, which ranks the Top 10 summer jams "based on actual performance on the Billboard Hot 100, from the June 12, 2010, chart date through the most-recent chart."
Not surprisingly, Katy Perry's "California Gurls" holds the top spot on the chart. After all, the song has been #1 on the Hot 100 for six straight weeks. Usher's "OMG" — which had previously nabbed the top spot on the Hot 100 — is in at #2, followed by B.o.B and Hayley Williams' "Airplanes," and the Travie McCoy/ Bruno Mars track "Billionaire." Ke$ha's "Your Love Is My Drug" rounds out the Top 5.
Lady Gaga's "Alejandro" — which won MTV's Summer Jam Sweepstakes last month — is at #6, Taio Cruz's "Break Your Heart" is at #7, Drake's "Find Your Love" is at #8, Eminem's "Not Afraid" is at #9 and Mike Posner's "Cooler Than Me" closes out the Top 10.
The "Songs of the Summer" chart will run until September 9, when Billboard will crown a champion. So it's still plenty early, which means that you probably can expect to see newer Hot 100 entries — like Eminem's hard-charging "Love the Way You Lie," which sits at #2 on the chart after just three weeks — to make a dent on the Summer chart as well. Hot 100 rankings are based on radio play and sales.
Along with the Summer chart, Billboard also unveiled a comprehensive list of the biggest summer songs of the past quarter-century, as determined by impact on the Hot 100 and something called "an inverse point system, with weeks at #1 earning the greatest value and weeks at No. 100 earning the least." For music obsessives, it's a treat. And for trivia buffs, it finally provides an answer to the question "Who had the biggest summer song in 1988?" (Steve Winwood!) So, really, everyone wins.

M.I.A. Declares She 'Loves' Justin Bieber
New love songs like 'It Takes a Muscle' may have inspired her soft spot for the Biebs ... or not. By James Montgomery
M.I.A.
Photo: MTV News
The lead-up to M.I.A.'s /\/\/\Y/\ album has basically been one long stream of bad PR, scurrilous spats and, uh, videos that depict things like the execution of redheads. So it may surprise you to learn that there's actually a pair of songs on the record that are actually, well, sort of nice.
"It Takes a Muscle" and "Lovalot" seem to be — on the surface, at least — about the trials and tribulations of the heart. So it seems that, deep down (and despite all the bluster), M.I.A. is actually a really sweet person. So in keeping with that spirit, we decided to ask her if there's anything else she really, truly loves.
"M.I.A. loves ... Justin Bieber?" she laughed.
Of course, we're not entirely sure we believe her. You'll remember, of course, that she once said that Bieber's videos were "more offensive" than her own aforementioned "Born Free" clip, and while she's since clarified her stance on Biebs, saying she meant it as "a joke," you still probably wouldn't peg her one who would succumb to Bieber Fever.
But then again, given her new album, we suppose anything is possible. Because /\/\/\Y/\ isn't just a new set of tunes, it's a new chapter for M.I.A. She's working with an entirely new team of producers, diving deeper into the sonic sample bin than ever before, and, most notably, she's actually singing this time around. Or at least that's what people are saying.
"It's sort of like [producer] Blaqstarr kind of encouraging me and making me comfortable to sing," she said. "And I think on my first album — I think, or I thought — that [songs like] 'Amazon' was me singing, and 'Paper Planes' was me singing, but I guess everyone seems to think I'm singing more on this album. I'm just singing louder."
Is M.I.A. really a Justin Bieber fan at heart? Tell us what you think in the comments!

Lady Gaga Fans Counteract Westboro Protesters In St. Louis
Lady Gaga urged fans to ignore the anti-gay demonstration, but many showed up with signs of their own.By James Dinh

On Saturday, Lady Gaga took to her Facebook page to pen a letter requesting that her little monsters ignore a protest the Westboro Baptist Church was planning to hold outside her show in St. Louis, Missouri.
"At the risk of drawing attention to a hateful organization, I would like to make my little monster fans aware of a protest being held outside the Monsterball in St. Louis tonight," Gaga wrote. "Although we have had protesters before, as well as fundamentalists at the show, this group of protesters are hate criminals and preach using lewd and violent language and imagery that I wish I [could] protect you all from. Their message is of hatred and divisiveness, but inside at the Monsterball we preach love and unity."
Local St. Louis news station KSDK reported that fans arriving for the singer's Monster Ball show at the Scottrade Center were met by members of the Kansas-based church, known for their anti-gay protests at events and military funerals.
According to a fan video taken at the event, only about half a dozen Westboro protestors showed up. They were outnumbered by Gaga supporters who, rather than ignore the hate messages, chose to counteract them with their own signs (some with humorous messages like "God Hates Figs"), T-shirts and rainbow flags.
The counter-protest isn't exactly what Gaga, who often talks about gay pride at her shows and during TV appearances, had asked of her fans.
"My request to all little monsters and public authorities is to pay these hate criminals no mind," she wrote before the show. "Do not interact with them, or try to fight. Do not respond to any of their provocation. Don't waste your words, or feelings, no matter what you hear or see you are more fortunate and blessed than they are, and in your heart just pray for them. Although I respect and do not judge anyone for their personal views on any politics or religion, this group in particular to me is violent and dangerous. I wanted to make my fans aware of my views on how to approach, or rather not approach, these kinds of hate activists."
Closing the letter, the singer took a chance to remind fans the importance of not letting others interfere with their own values and appreciate that they don't believe in the group's hateful message. "Be inspired to ignore their ignorant message, and feel gratitude in your heart that you are not burdened or addicted to hate, as they are. X," she concluded.
After the concert, the singer took to her Twitter to share some final words.
"Tonight love and hate met in St. Louis," Gaga wrote. "And love outnumbered the hate, in poetic thousands. Hate left. But love stayed. + Together, we sang."
AOL's Politics Daily reports that Westboro plans to protest her Oklahoma City concert on Tuesday.

'Scream 4' Stars Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella On Working With Original 'Scream' Cast
Plus, Tortorella reveals onscreen romance with Emma Roberts' 'Scream 4' character.By Jocelyn Vena
Rory Culkin
Photo: MTV News
It almost seems like when they were casting "Scream 4," they stole from the credits for the Joel Schumacher-directed gritty drug drama "Twelve." Three of the film's castmates, Emma Roberts, Rory Culkin and Nico Tortorella, will all have roles in the upcoming sequel in the "Scream" franchise. While Roberts couldn't make it to the premiere due to her "Scream 4" shooting schedule, MTV News did get some dish from Culkin and Tortorella.
"We're still shooting it. Not really allowed to talk about it. I signed a contract, seriously. I can't say anything and I'd hate to get sued," Culkin told MTV News at the New York City premiere of "Twelve." "I better keep quiet on this!"
"I was [a fan of the original]. I was the ghost-faced killer for Halloween in the third or fourth grade," he added. "Am I the killer this time around? ... I am under contract."
While Culkin decided to keep mum, his "Twelve" and "Scream 4" co-star dished a bit more, revealing that he and Roberts may get busy. "My name is Trevor, and Emma and I have a love interest throughout the whole movie, and I can't really give you too much more," Tortorella said, adding that being on-set with some of the original cast is very exciting. "I can't give you any information past that."
"Yeah, Courteney's there, Neve's there, David's there. You know, it's really like walking into a family, and they're just all accepting us with mad open arms," he explained. "They're all incredible people. It's been quite the trip. I had never seen the originals until after I auditioned for the first time. ... After watching them all, yeah, it's one of its own."
Other key players in the star-studded cast include Hayden Panettiere, who recently shared some details about the movie, Adam Brody, Anthony Anderson and Marley Shelton.
"Scream 4" is scheduled to open April 15, 2011.

Gathegi set to play 'X-Men's' first biracial mutant, Darwin.By Jocelyn Vena

"Twilight Saga: New Moon" actor Edi Gathegi has found his next role in another fanatically loved franchise. Gathegi will play Darwin in the upcoming "X-Men: First Class," Deadline Hollywood reports.
Darwin is the first biracial mutant in the comic series, and he has the power of "reactive evolution," meaning that his body can adapt to any situation. For instance, his skin can become flame retardant in a fire, he can grow gills when submerged in water or he can see in the dark.
"First Class" is to center on the early years of the mutants made famous by the Marvel comic series. James McAvoy will star as a young Charles Xavier, better known by his superhero name, Professor X. "Kick-Ass" director Matthew Vaughn is to helm the film, which has been given a June 3, 2011, release date. Production is expected to begin this summer, with "X-Men" and "X2: X-Men United" director Bryan Singer producing, alongside Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg.
But "First Class" won't reunite Gathegi with "Twilight" co-star Taylor Lautner, despite earlier rumors. Lautner, who was said to be in talks to play a young Wolverine, was attached to the project for quite some time, but later decided to pass.
And it's not just "Twilight" junkies who are sad that Lautner's out. "I wanted Taylor to do it, I really did," Singer said. "He's doing a movie in Pittsburgh called 'Abduction,' and then he's got the next 'Twilight' movie. We talked about it a lot, he is a friend, and I really wanted to make it work. It just doesn't look like it's possible to do it."
Singer did, however, confirm some other big names for the film. "Kevin Bacon I do believe is going to happen," he said, noting that he'd likely become the central villain. "James McAvoy is definitely cast as a young Charles Xavier, Mike Fassbender is in the movie, Nick Hoult. Those are for sure."
Do you think that Gathegi is the right actor to play Darwin? Tell us in the comments!

As Spain took home its first-ever FIFA World Cup win on Sunday, stars of all kinds took to Twitter to reflect on the final match of the global soccer tourney.
British songstress Estelle shouted out the Spanish team, tweeting, "Spain were...on dis ting!!!!! Congrats!!!"
Justin Bieber apparently enjoyed the matchup between Spain and the Netherlands, tweeting, "wow...SPAIN!! great game...nothing to be ashamed of." The Spanish team may have reigned victorious but the Canadian teen showed love to the Netherlands as well. "True champions on both sides," Bieber wrote.
Some stars shared their eager anticipation of the final match with their Twitter followers. Paris Hilton, who was still taking in the games after a run-in with local police over alleged marijuana possession, sent out a picture of an illuminated stadium before the match kicked off.
Will.I.Am tweeted his support for the Spaniards before the game: "Spain, please be victorious tonight against Holland...(Pay back for beating my Brazilian team)."
Three hours later, as "La Furia Roja" scored the winning goal in overtime, the Peas producer typed, "Vamos Spain...victory."
Gossip-monger Perez Hilton tweeted a similarly succinct message, typing, "Olé! #ESP," after the team walked away with the win.
Snoop Dogg, who has been active on his Twitter page about the World Cup hullabaloo, apparently wasn't able to catch the game live and tweeted Sunday, "I land at 2:30 pm pst in Vegas need to watch the game when I get there. Hook me up wit the replay or download link for the game."
The Doggfather apparently got a link hook-up and later tweeted a picture of himself onstage with the caption, "Live at the Pokerstars party in Vegas for WSOP and rockin the red n [yellow] spain jersey."
Shakira, who brought her power-shimmy to both the opening and closing concerts at this year's World Cup, tweeted a picture of her and South African native Charlize Theron in a post-game embrace with the caption, "With Charlize Theron celebrating at the end of the world cup!"
Nicky Hilton, who hung out in the African nation with her sister Paris, showed love to the first-time winners but also acknowledged the first-time host country. "Congratulations to South Africa for putting on a brilliant World Cup and being such an amazing host!"

'The Hills' Musical Legacy: Natasha Bedingfield, Lady Gaga And More
Artists from Hilary Duff to Journey owe a debt to 'Laguna Beach' and its spin-off.By Kyle Anderson
Lady Gaga on "The Hills"
Photo: MTV
Tuesday night (July 13) represents a huge moment in the history of MTV programming and reality television in general. After six seasons, "The Hills" is coming to a close with a two-hour grand-finale event, beginning at 8 p.m. on MTV. It has been a watershed program, as it first established the sort of hyper-real aesthetic that many reality shows (and a handful of fictional dramas) copied. But "The Hills" and its predecessor, "Laguna Beach," also left their mark in the music world.
Each of the shows had theme songs that helped spark massive career moves for the artists behind them. The theme song to "Laguna Beach" was Hilary Duff's "Come Clean," co-written by Kara DioGuardi and John Shanks. Though it originally appeared on Duff's 2003 album, Metamorphosis, and was released as a single in early 2004, it really picked up steam once it accompanied the premiere of "Laguna Beach" in September of that year. It peaked at #9 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart and earned Duff a shortlist recommendation (though no actual nomination) for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the Grammy Awards.
"The Hills" theme song did even better by its artist. When Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten" debuted as the tune that introduced the world to "The Hills" in May 2006, it stormed up the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #5. In fact, because of its crossover appeal, "Unwritten" became the most-played song on the radio in the United States in 2006. Not bad for a track that was originally released in 2004 on Bedingfield's debut album of the same name.
"The Hills" also gave the world some early exposure to Lady Gaga. Before Gaga's debut album, The Fame, took over the airwaves, she performed at a fashion show where Conrad and friend Whitney Port styled her. Gaga was even the subject of a minor plot in that episode, as the zipper of her catsuit broke, forcing Conrad to repair it and save the day.
But perhaps the most lasting musical legacy of "The Hills" is actually a moment from "Laguna Beach." The second-season premiere of "Laguna Beach" (which aired in July 2005) featured a scene wherein castmember Stephen Colletti picks Conrad up for a date. The song playing in Stephen's car during the scene? Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'," which had yet to receive its second renaissance thanks to the series finale of "The Sopranos" (which didn't air until two years later). Exposure on "Laguna Beach" (along with its appearance on a "Family Guy" episode the same week) sent the track skyrocketing into the iTunes Top 10, an amazing feat for a song that was nearly 25 years old.
What was your favorite musical moment from "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills"? Let us know in the comments!
Join MTVNews.com on Tuesday, July 13, at 8 p.m. ET for a live stream from the red carpet of Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel, where the stars will gather for "The Hills Live: A Hollywood Ending." Fact Or Fiction: Inmates Sick Of Lindsay Lohan In Jail?
Although this doesn't surprise me, I'm not sure if all the allegations the "jail source" makes are true, so I've decided to make this a "fact or fiction" post.
Maria Medina, a relative of someone else who's staying at the same jail where Lindsay Lohan is being held, told People the other inmates are already sick of the high-profile prisoner.
"She's not treated like if it was anyone else going to jail," Maria Medina, a relative of an inmate at Lohan's jail tells PEOPLE. "Like, if they even want to bring her new clothes or bring her anything, they put the whole facility on lockdown. It happens all the time.
"All the inmates are sick of Lindsay," Medina says. "It's almost like Lindsay Lohan's here, but she's not. Like if she even moves, they put the whole facility on lockdown. It happens all the time. For example, just yesterday [Friday], Lindsay had to go to the mini-clinic, and the whole place was on lockdown again."
A sheriff's spokesman denied Maria's claims.
"It's business as usual. Lindsay's getting no special treatment," he told PEOPLE on Saturday. He also said there is no such thing as "lockdowns."
So I don't know what to believe.
Regardless, Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, tells People Lindsay is doing better. She says her client's outlook is "definitely more positive." I guess the attorney would know. According to Radar Online, she visited Lindsay for five hours on Saturday. Lindsay had used up all her family visits, but I guess attorney visits are unlimited.
What do you think of Maria Medina's claims: fact or fiction?

Shia LaBeouf And Patrick Dempsey Shoot It Out On Set
Shia LaBeouf and 'Grey's Anatomy' star Patrick Dempsey were spotted shooting what looks like an INTENSE action sequence on the set of 'Transformers 3.' Their body doubles are also there, so you have to look closely at the pictures to see who's actually in them :)
To me, it looks like the usual mayhem that we see in the 'Transformers' movies, so there won't be any disappointments with the third installment. I bet it's a big change for Patrick to shoot these types of scenes: 'Grey's Anatomy' is nowhere near this action packed (even with that nerve-wracking season finale)!

Michael Jackson's Party Anthems: DJ Drama, Jermaine Dupri, More Reveal Their Favorites
'Michael Jackson's music can absolutely crush a party!' Q-Tip tells MTV News.By Shaheem Reid
Michael Jackson
Photo: Kevin Mazur/ WireImage
Friday (June 25) marks the one-year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death. Fans across the globe are still heartbroken that the King of Pop is no longer with us, but this weekend, they will celebrate his memory by singing his songs and dancing to his music, just like Jackson wanted them to do while he was still here.
We spoke to several DJs and asked them which of MJ's songs are their favorites to play in the club. " 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough,' " Jermaine Dupri said Friday morning. "Because it embodies what clubs in the '80s were really about, and you can hear it. For the three minutes you throw that on, you start believing you're back there. At least I do."
"Probably 'P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing),' " DJ Drama said via phone from India. "It gets all the drunk and hot girls excited!"
" 'P.Y.T.,' " DJ Envy agreed. " 'Beat It,' 'Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'.' "
Q-Tip, who became a legend in hip-hop for his abstract rhymes, had a few nonconventional choices. "Michael Jackson's music can absolutely crush a party!" said Tip, who DJs all around the world. "The obvious records are 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' and 'Rock With You.' My personal faves are 'Life of the Party,' 'Get on the Floor' and 'Body Language.' Also, 'Show Me the Way to Go.' "
"My two favorites are 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' and 'Billie Jean.' They both are so timeless," said DJ Kut, who spins on WBLS in New York. "They even make me wanna dance, and I don't dance!"
"Definitely one of my all-time favorites that can work at any party in the world is 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough,' " Miami's DJ Affect said. "The title explains it best. ... That record is a party starter! Followed up by 'Billie Jean,' which always gets the ladies moving on any dance floor. To conclude the night around 4:55 a.m. in South Beach, 'Dirty Diana' is the perfect go-to record. MJ will truly be missed and never forgotten."
Lil Jon went with the classics: " 'Billie Jean.' Soon as the drums drop, people go nuts and they love to sing the hook! 'Wanna Be Startin' Somethin',' I use the 'ma ma say, ma ma sa' part all the time to get the whole club crazy. 'Rock With You,' I drop the a cappella, and everyone is singing, from thugs to nerds. Then I drop the beat and send the club into a frenzy!"
"You can go to any club on the planet and hear 'Billie Jean,' 'Beat It,' " said DJ Jazzy Jeff, who released the Jackson tribute mixtape He's the King, I'm the DJ last year. "You can hear 'Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'.' Those are his main, main super staples; an Eskimo in Alaska knows those."
MTV will be remembering the life and music of Michael Jackson all weekend. Don't miss the one-hour special "Michael Jackson's Influence on Music," airing tonight at 6:30 p.m. on MTV.

Don't miss the one-hour special "Michael Jackson's Influence on Music," airing tonight at 6:30 p.m. on MTV.

Comic-Con Live Stream Continues With 'Tron Legacy,' 'Scott Pilgrim'
Saturday's live stream, which starts at 6 p.m. ET, features stars from 'Thor' and 'Captain America.'By Kara Warner, with reporting by MTV News staff

SAN DIEGO — Comic-Con coverage continued Friday (July 23) as the MTV News team returned to the scene to cover the hottest panels and speak with the biggest celebs. Again, one of the major highlights was our live-stream broadcast with MySpace, during which we hosted fantastic guests from the casts of "Tron Legacy" and "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World."
Kicking off the show were Garrett Hedlund, Jeff Bridges and Joseph Kosinski, who — despite this being their third appearance at Comic-Con — are still very enthusiastic about "Tron Legacy" and joked that they would have more footage to bring at the next Con, even though the movie opens this year. Hedlund mentioned that one highlight for him was all the training he did to prepare for the role and that he ended up getting his motorcycle license to pilot the cycles involved in filming. Castmember Michael Sheen, who likely garnered the most laughs of the show, joked that he felt like RuPaul in the 6-inch platform shoes his eccentric character wears.
Shortly after, the "Scott Pilgrim" gang descended on the broadcast, during which director Edgar Wright outed his star Michael Cera for wearing a costume/disguise on the convention floor the night before.
"As some actors do go on the floor with a mask on, Michael put a mask on and lined up for his own 'Scott Pilgrim' Experience [in which fans could design their own 'Pilgrim'-themed T-shirts] in disguise," Wright said, adding that Cera designed his own shirt.
Cera's big disguise was apparently a "fierce-looking" gorilla mask, one that was so cool that other people in line kept coming up to him and asking for pictures while he was waiting on the street.
"My body language got really weird, because I'd picture whoever this guy is wearing this mask. When people would come up to me and start asking for pictures, I'd go like this," Cera said, leaning off to the side awkwardly. "I had a really weird voice under there too. It was kind of creeping people out, I think."
Cera's co-star Anna Kendrick later revealed that she, too, had traveled the convention floor in a mask, but she wouldn't reveal what kind of mask she wore.
Make sure to check back Saturday at 6 p.m. ET/ 3 p.m. PT for our two-hour show, during which we will have live interviews with the stars from "Thor" and "Captain America," as well as a visit from "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane and Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige. The show will stream simultaneously on MySpace and MTV's homepage, and viewers can take part in the conversations firsthand and in real time by posting comments and questions for the chance to have their favorite celebrities answer live.
MTV News and MySpace are live at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con! From Seth Rogen and Michael Cera to Anna Kendrick and Bruce Willis, we're talking to some of the world's biggest stars during our daily live streams. So tune in to MTV.com at 6 p.m. ET/ 3 p.m. PT on Saturday to watch the fun unfold. And don't forget to check in for exclusive interviews, movie clips and much more!

Lady Gaga Will Be A Lollapalooza 'Centerpiece,' Perry Farrell Says
'Her presentation is so overwhelming that some may overlook the music,' he tells MTV Radio of over-the-top live show.By James Montgomery, with reporting by Sasha Hamrogue
Lady Gaga
Photo: George Pimentel/ WireImage
Perry Farrell remembers Lady Gaga's 2007 set at Lollapalooza, a sweaty, Saturday-afternoon affair that saw the then-brunet, yet-to-conquer-the-globe Gaga parade around in little more than a disco-ball bra and thigh-high stockings. He was impressed, but needless to say, he never thought he'd see the day she'd be headlining the fest.
"I remember ... she's got dark-brown hair, she's in a bikini, and she's wearing thigh-highs and she's sweating, because she was on at around 3 o'clock," Farrell told MTV Radio. "Her music was cool, her show was kind of cool, but now, the production of her music, the people she's surrounded herself with, the development of her stage show ... it's something that, when I think about Lollapalooza, in that gorgeous setting of [Chicago's] Grant Park, with the amazing buildings all around us, lit up, I see her and her show as being a centerpiece to the evening."
Yes, from side-stage curiosity to mainstage must-see, Gaga has come a long way in three short years, and Farrell — who's already said that Lollapalooza will spend six figures to accommodate her massive Monster Ball stage — sees it as his obligation to help her continue on that climb. But he's hoping the Lolla crowds won't just focus on her stage show. After all, her music is pretty great too.
"Her presentation is so overwhelming that some may overlook the music ... but the truth is, her music, to me, is right where music should be. It's on the cutting edge, but it's [also] in the crosshairs of where every musician is aiming these days," he said. "She's this hybrid of Yoko Ono, sort of the Plastic Ono Band meets Madonna meets Elton John. She's this beautiful crossing of those things [that] every musician is looking to find. Everyone's looking for that sound, and I think she really hits it."
And though he realizes that not all Lolla fans are necessarily "little monsters," he also hopes they'll be won over by her set. After all, that's sort of what Lollapalooza has been doing since it first started back in 1991: introducing kids to new artists, new scenes and, most importantly, new sounds.
"We're going to help her deliver it, just the way we did in 1991, when people didn't go to rap concerts because they might be considered very dangerous," he said. "[Back then,] a lot of those kids who went to Lollapalooza might not have seen Ice-T, but then, there he was. Same with Ice Cube. And that's one of the things I guess I could say I pride myself in: I'm able to bring music that people are very curious about, and once they meet this music, they'll really dig it."

Justin Bieber Talks 'Surviving' Puberty
'Puberty is a natural thing,' singer tells Vibe.com about the possibility of his voice changing.By Jocelyn Vena

Justin Bieber just reached his latest pop star milestone by securing a guest spot on "CSI," and the teen star recently opened up about reaching another milestone: puberty. So, if fans are worried about what will happen once Bieber's voice changes an octave or two, he assures them he's got a puberty game plan.
"Everyone's voice changes. Puberty is a natural thing," Bieber told Vibe.com. "I have the best vocal coach in the world and we're working on my voice and doing what I need to do. It's not like as soon as you hit puberty you stop singing. Usher is the best mentor in the world and he survived puberty. He tells me what to do, what not to do."
Speaking of growing up, Bieber admits that although he could have access to his fair share of young women, like any teenager, he has to answer to his mom first. "My mom has me on a tight leash and [she's] being real protective. The girls show up wearing nothing," he says. "I can't lie, I'm 16, I don't hate it. I don't have a girlfriend."
And yes, Bieber even still has to do chores. "My mom is still my mom. She could care less if I'm an international superstar. I still have to clean my room on the tour bus. She takes my computer at 12 [a.m.] so I can sleep," he says. "I don't have a bedtime [but] she doesn't want me on the computer because she doesn't want it to rot my brain. When she takes away my computer, I still play with my iPad. She doesn't know. My mom is my biggest fan. She's been a fan since I was a baby. My father's in Canada, taking care of my brother and sister. He's amazing; he's really proud of me."
With his family by his side, Bieber says that right now he's living the dream. "It's been pretty crazy traveling the world. ... Not many people get to do what I'm doing. It's amazing," he says. "My favorite thing is being able to travel around the world and perform for my fans. I think I've lost 80 percent of my hearing. I definitely have very loud fans."

Fact Or Fiction: Inmates Sick Of Lindsay Lohan In Jail?

Don't miss the one-hour special "Michael Jackson's Influence on Music," airing tonight at 6:30 p.m. on MTV.
