We caught up with Wing Shya at his recent retrospective exhibition in Singapore at Ion Art titled "This is Real." The Hong Kong photographer is reknowned for his fashion photography and videos, as well as his long relationship with Wong Kar-wai as the auteur's exclusive set photographer.
Shya tells us about is natural progression from photography to film.
CNNGo: You are best known for your photography, but have crossed over into film. Last year, you completed your first feature length film "Hot Summer Days." Why the interest in film?
